This special road trip takes in three European countries: Austria, Slovakia, and the Czech Republic / Hungary. You will explore Schönbrunn Palace, the former summer residence of the imperial family in Vienna, and experience Vienna’s Old Town on a guided walking tour. Learn everything about the capital of Austria. Then, embark on a guided walking tour of Bratislava’s historic Old Town (Little Big City).
Immerse yourself in medical treatments in Piešťany, a town renowned for its healing geothermal water and sulphur mud. It has one of the largest spa resorts in Europe.
And your final staying of the trip will be in Prague (cruise on the Vltava River. Discover St Vitus Cathedral in Prague, a Gothic masterpiece where the coronations of Bohemian kings and queens took place) or Budapest (explore top landmarks, such as St. Stephen’s Basilica, the Hungarian House of Parliament, and Heroes‘ Square and after enjoy a picturesque cruise on the Danube River).
This moderately active trip involves three to four hours of walking each day of the tour, except in Piešťany. The pace is gentle; but you will encounter some uneven surfaces, stairs, and steps.
