Hotel Pension Thermalpark  & Aqua parks in Dunajska Streda

Thermal springs are located in the south part where adults and children enjoy them in aqua parks all year. The local water also has beneficial effects on guests health. The rarest liquid in its purest form can be found on Rye Island, which is the largest reservoir of drinking water in Europe. At the same time, it is the largest inland island on our continent, where the meander of the Danube offers the unique experience of rafting the small arms of this European river.

Thermal water is not only ideal for relaxation but also has beneficial effects on the musculoskeletal and locomotor systems.

Day 1: Arrival day

Arrival to the airport, transfer to Hotel Pension Thermalpark **** in Dunajská Streda, check in anddinner at the hotel.

Day 2: Bratislava tour

Explore Slovakia’s capital Bratislava on guided city tour in the historical city center. You will see the symbol of Bratislava – unique bridge with tower and restaurant UFO, where you can enjoy the panoramatic view of the city (UFO lift). As an option, you can experience the UFO skywalk with instructor. Then enjoy free time in the city center and lunch in Eurovea. Than take a cruise trip on river Danube to the ruins of Devin Castle(on the boarder of SK, CZ, AT).

Day 3: Canoeing on river Danube & Water Mills

Discover the beauty of nature from a canoe on river Danube. The canoeing trip organizers have created routes for not just water adrenaline enthusiasts, but also for children who want to relax in Trnava Region while still having fun on the water and experiencing something new. The professional guide will take care of everything. Canoeing is accessible in a plastic canoe or raft, as well as on a paddleboard.

Water Mills

Guided tour of water mills.There were more than 4,000 mills in Slovakia. It is worth visiting them on the Little Danube. Currently, only a few of them have been preserved, which are located in Jelka, Tomašíkov and Jahodná.

Day 4: Malkia Park, Military museum Slovakia Ring, Trnava Tour with underground visit, Chillpoint laser arena Trnava, Go-Kart Riding Dlhá:

Malkia Park

Many species of the felid family (lions, tigers, leopards, jaguars, lynxes, bobcats, cougars, cheetahs) have found their home in Malkia Park in southern Slovakia. In the park, you can get to see gibbons, capuchin monkeys and lemurs, parrots, meerkats or turtles close up. You can pet the ungulates (zebras, camels, donkeys, sheep, goats, lamas), rabbits, kangaroos, silkies, and peacocks. You can also feed these creatures with food that animals handlers provide. In this unique park you can observe rescued animals from very poor conditions. Come and see what goes on behind the scenes in the daily work of caring for the animals, watch their extraordinary rituals up close, and discover the hidden places of Malkia Park.

Military museum Slovakia Ring

The new museum and the permanent exhibition of historical military technology are located at the off-road area of the SLOVAKIA RING racing circuit. Visitors can admire the museum pieces of armaments of mostly Czechoslovak People’s Army. i.e. there is an exposed track and wheel technology in the form of tanks T34, T55, T72, vehicles Tatra 813, KRAZ 255, howitzers, works, cannons, armored personnel carriers, but also fighters and combat helicopters. Selected technology models are in perfect condition and still functional even for possible driving.

Lounch in Akadémia & Trnava tour (with underground visit)

Afterwards you will transfer to Trnava, which used to be the capital town, where you walk guided Tour of Trnava. The beginnings of the first free royal city on the territory of today’s Slovakia date back to the 13th century. Discover historical streets interspersed with stories and legends, town houses, and city walls that still surround the historic city center like a mighty stone fortress. The Renaissance city tower with unique mechanical clockwork gives splendid views over the city.  With its 11 churches (including two synagogues), Trnava is also widely known as The Small (Slovak) Rome.

Then have a break and enjoy free time in Trnava. Restaurants and café tips: Akadémia, Patriot or Thalmeiner.

Enjoy the possibility to go shopping in Trnava (Arena shopping center).

Day 5: Driny Cave, Smolenice Castle, Meadary VČELKO

Driny Cave

Enjoy guided tour of Driny Cave. Underground pearl Driny Cave is one of the main tourist attractions of the Lesser Carpathians with larger underground spaces prevail, it represents a system of narrow fissure passages, however with beautiful dripstone decoration.

Smolenice Castle

Learn and explore about romantic Smolenice Castle and relax in its large English park, where you will have feeling that you are in a fairy tail.

The first written documents about the existence of Smolenice date back to the 13th century. In 1945 the castle became the property of the State; it was taken over by the Slovak National Council which decided to keep it as their summer-house. The castle was finished and furnished and handed over to the Slovak Academy of Sciences in 1953 to become a representative place for meetings of the scientists from the worldwide.

Meadary VČELKO

Learn and taste the honey, which is produced at the foothills of the Little Carpathians, in Smolenice village.

Bees contribute to the balance of the surrounding nature and pollinate every third bite of food we eat.

Day 6: Excursion – Hydroelectric power station & Danubiana

Excursion – Hydroelectric power station

The primary mission of the gigantic structure is to prevent floods, regulate the water flow, produce the electricity the Danube. The Hydroelectric power station produces 8-10 percent of the electricity produced in Slovakia. See with your own eyes the huge doors of the locks, in front of which ships are waiting to sail on. There will be guide services provided during the visit of the waterworks. The turbines will be observed and explained more detailed information about the functioning of the waterworks.

Danubiana

The Danubiana Meulensteen Art Museum, one of the most romantic museums of modern art in Europe with breathtaking sculpture park. Since 2000 when the museum was opened, dozens of exhibitions of the most prestigious figures of the Slovak, European and global art scene.
The Danubiana’s unique harmonious combination of museum architecture and the surrounding Danube River landscape offer visitors unique views of the artwork as well as the flora and fauna which change with the seasons.The museum roof offers a unique view of Bratislava, the Small Carpathians and the majestic Danube River.

Day 7: Thermalpark Dunajská Streda

Today have a great time in the kids‘ pools with fun slides, and enjoy the water tower with toboggans. There are also diving pools and swimming pools. 

Last but not least, sports courts are awaiting those who love exercise. You can try beach volleyball, mini golf, multifunctional pitch, table tennis, and outdoor chess. The natural lake, which is part of Thermalpark Dunajska Streda, offers opportunities for swimming, relaxation, and water sports.

Day 8: Departure day

After breakfast, chcesk out and transfer to the airport and flight back home.
